## Finding your Site ID and Secret Key

Forter provides separate sandbox and production environments, each with its own Site ID and Secret Key. Use your sandbox credentials while integrating and testing. Switch to production credentials when you go live. See [Configure Decisions](https://docs.forter.com/extensions/configure-decisions) for the phase-by-phase recommendations.

Find both on the [Credentials](https://portal.forter.com/app/dashboard/integration/credentials/) page of the Forter Portal (`Integration Center > Credentials`), under **Core API**. Switch sites using the selector in the top left of the Portal.

## Finding your API version

Your API version is shown at the top left of the same **API reference** page. If you don't see the version you need, contact your Forter implementation team to have it enabled for your site.

## Entering the values in Business Manager

Go to `Merchant Tools > Site Preferences > Site Custom Preferences > Forter - Core Configuration` and set:

| Preference        | Value                                       |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| `forterSiteID`    | Your Site ID                                |
| `forterSecretKey` | Your Secret Key                             |
| `versionAPI`      | Your account's API version (default `10.1`) |
