## 1. Deploy the code

Upload `int_forter_sfra` and `bm_forter` to your SFCC sandbox via WebDAV or your IDE.

Add cartridge paths in Business Manager:

- **Storefront** — `Administration > Sites > Manage Sites > [your site] > Settings`. Add `int_forter_sfra` before `app_storefront_base` and before any PSP cartridge, so its hooks, controller extensions, and module overrides all take effect. If a PSP cartridge comes first instead, it can override the same controllers or modules and Forter's version never runs. See [Pre-Auth Flow](https://docs.forter.com/extensions/pre-auth-flow).
- **Business Manager** — `Administration > Sites > Manage Sites > Business Manager > Settings`. Add `bm_forter`.

Enable the Business Manager module: `Administration > Organization > Roles & Permissions` → select your role → **Business Manager Modules** → enable **Forter**.

## 2. Import the metadata

The cartridge's custom attributes, services, and jobs ship as a single site-template archive.

The archive's `jobs.xml` defaults to a site ID of `RefArch`. If your site ID is different, either edit `jobs.xml` inside `metadata/site_template.zip` before importing, or import as-is and fix the site context on the `ForterOrderUpdateSFRA` job afterward. To import: `Administration > Site Development > Site Import & Export` → upload `metadata/site_template.zip` → select it in the list → **Import**.
