Testing Overview
Test the integration in a sandbox before flipping forterEnabled in production. Work through this category in order:
- Logging and Snippet Verification — set up the log category and confirm the device fingerprint snippet is rendering, so you can observe results from every test that follows.
- Order Decision Testing — force deterministic Approve, Decline, and Not Reviewed outcomes on orders using dedicated test accounts.
- Account Protection Decision Testing — force deterministic outcomes for login, registration, and profile-update events using test IPs. Skip this if you haven't enabled Account Protection.
- UAT Scenarios — validate the integration against the scenarios required before go-live: auth timing, fail-open behavior, status sync, and PSP-specific edge cases like 3DS.
- Launch Checklist — run the final pre-production checklist, including requesting Listen Mode.
