overview static evidence refers to the components of a representment letter that remain consistent across all chargebacks, regardless of the reason code these materials are embedded into your dispute letter templates to maintain brand accuracy and support dispute credibility once submitted, forter will incorporate these assets into your template automatically please follow the formatting requirements below to ensure proper rendering and successful submission what merchants need to provide forter requests four types of static evidence upload them to your designated s3 folder using the file names shown below if you have a covered model segment only, just the merchant description and merchant logo are required if you operate multiple brands or storefronts, please submit static evidence for each brand separately, using the file naming convention filename brandname txt ✅ required static evidence evidence type description file name merchant description brief summary (max 2 sentences or 1,000 characters) of your business avoid promotional language submit as txt description txt merchant logo logo in png , jpg , or jpeg white background, max width 350px , max height 100px logo jpg or logo jpeg or logo png purchase flow screenshot image showing where users agree to your t\&cs (e g , a checkbox at checkout, or "by clicking purchase you are agreeing to our t\&cs") format png , jpg , or jpeg purchase flow\ jpg or purchase flow\ jpeg or purchase flow\ png terms & conditions summary or snapshot of key terms related to disputes including but not limited to refunds, returns, cancellations, recurring payments ≤ 10 pages please avoid adding t\&cs that don't reference the above toc jpg or toc pdf upload instructions upload each file to your assigned aws s3 folder use the exact filenames listed above forter will automatically pull the latest version into your dispute letter template updating static evidence if you need to update or replace any of your static evidence files upload the new version to your s3 folder using the same filename notify your forter point of contact so we can confirm the change is reflected in your template
