Shopify Credentials
In this document are the steps required for Forter to manage chargeback recovery on your Shopify orders
Create app
- Log in to your Shopify Account
- Click on Apps in the left menu
- Click on App and Sales channel settings
- Click on Develop apps at the top right corner
- Click Create an app at the top right corner
- Set the App name (i.e. Forter)
- Click on Create app
Configure access
- Click on API credentials tab
- Click Configure Admin API scopes
- Allow Read permissions for the following:
read_shopify_payments_disputes
- To submit evidence please allow access to:
shopify_payments_dispute_file_uploads
- Note: If this scope is missing, please reach out to Shopify support to gain
access to this scope

- Click Save

Install app
- Click on API credentials tab
- Click Install app
- Click Install in the pop-up dialog

Copy details to send to Forter in txt file, along with your Shop Name
- Access Token
- API Key
- Secret Key

- Send the access credentials to Forter via secure S3 bucket transfer. Ensure the credentials are saved under the file naming convention "JCBR-processorName" where processorName is a placeholder for which processor these keys are for (ex. "JCBR-Shopify")
