The Fraud & 3DS Execution Integration grants full access to Forter's Fraud Management and Payment Optimization.

Integration Phases

Setup Verify that the integration prerequisites are met between the merchant and both Forter and the merchant's PSP.

JS and Mobile SDKs Incorporate Forter's client components into your website and application.

3DS Initialization Initiate the 3DS flow with Forter's 3DS service, and collect the device fingerprint for the bank.

Pre Auth Order API Get Forter’s real-time fraud decision along with 3DS results for the PSP Authorization call. For the Forter PSD2 solution, a recommendation to request an exemption will be provided for a portion of the traffic rather than performing 3DS.

3DS Challenge Display a challenge, if required by the bank during the 3DS authentication process, and obtain the resulting 3DS outcome.

Authorization Invoke your PSP Authorization API with the 3DS results or exemption request provided by Forter.

Status API Ensure that Forter’s system has the most up-to-date information about the status of the order.

Claims API Notify Forter about chargebacks and fraud alerts.
